I stumbled across the recipe for these beauties and adapted it to ensure it complied with the wheat and sugar free regulations. They are absolutely delicious and within a day my family has just about devoured the entire batch. They are really simple to make and are definitely worth a try!
Combine 2 cups of blended oats and 2 cups of rice crispies.
In a pan melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted stir in 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and 1 tablespoon of honey. Stir until dissolved and add a teaspoon of vanilla essence and a dash of cinnamon.
Pour this mixture into the oats and rice crispies. Stir until combined.
Spread evenly in a pan lined with wax wrap. Refrigerate until firm and then cut into squares.
