Don’t have time in the mornings to spend making breakfast? Overnight oats are the perfect solution for you! You can prepare these the night before or even prepare a lot for the week. They are also very simple to make and don’t require a lot of ingredients.
In a bowl mix together 2 cups of oats, 2 cups of milk, a dash of cinnamon and 1 tsp of vanilla essence. This is the basic mixture but you can flavour it anyway you like. I flavoured 2 of these with freshly squeezed orange juice and the other one with strawberries. The options are endless though and you can flavour them with anything you like.
I didn’t add honey to these as I think the fruit provides sufficient sweetness but it really is up to you and your personal tastes.
Once you’ve made and flavoured the mixture pour it out into glass jars and place in the fridge. They should be ready the next morning but can be kept in the fridge for quite a few days.
