School lunches are something that we can’t really avoid. Whether you are a high schooler or a mother who has to buy the contents of your child’s lunch box; the dreaded lunch box affects everyone. But I have a solution. This post is going to be a guide to healthy lunches.
Snacks
-Chopped carrots and cucumber with cottage cheese
-Greek yogurt with berries(can be frozen) and honey
-Biltong
-Naartije
-Nuts
-Sliced apple and peanut butter (I know this sounds weird but it is a heavenly combination)
-Strawberries
-Mini rice cakes
Lunch
–Rice noodle salads
-Potato salad
-Nachos with guacamole (mashed avocado with cottage cheese)
–Pea and lentil salad
–Meilie, feta and tuna salad
Left overs are your best friends when it comes to lunches. They are the perfect, nutrient packed meals to pop in a container that will sustain you for most of the day. That is provided that your left overs are wheat-free and healthy.
